How to measure your lenses
Inner diameter
The inner diameter corresponds to the measurement of the focus ring at its maximum width. Please note that this is a flexible material, so consider choosing a diameter 1 mm smaller than the measurement taken on your optics.
Outer diameter
The outer diameter corresponds to the outer measurement you want your focus ring to occupy, which is usually similar to the lens cover
Width
The width corresponds to the thickness of the focus ring. Some lenses have a width of 10 mm (the standard), but sometimes it can be thinner or much thicker, as in the case of telephoto lenses.
